So i bought the Leap Motion Controller with the Kickstarter Event. It looked really nice and I wanted to have some fun with it. After a while I lost interest. But now, some years later, I plugged it in again and wanted to test some apps and try to control my Desktop PC with it but nothing works. I got a win 10 home PC and no matter what I try i cant get anything started. I'm not a programmer and I dont have any VR stuff.

Some years ago it was so easy. Download the program. install some apps. play around. what has changed? what can I do with leap anymore?

I'm confused.

PS. i just wanna flick my finger and scroll through my browser again... is this possible?

The latest software version, Orion v4, was built for use with VR applications. Older apps won't work with it. You'll want to download the older v2 software from here: https://leapmotion.box.com/s/1mqiux5sxho930521gfqt6f056ygkieq12

If you're on Windows 10, you need to apply the bugfix from here: https://forums.leapmotion.com/t/resolved-windows-10-fall-creators-update-bugfix/65859

Once your controller is up and running, you can download apps from our Gallery at https://gallery.leapmotion.com/category/desktop/5

For computer controls, I would recommend checking out GameWave.
