Form & Function came with the installation of the sofware, also Sculpting. and couldn't install them. Also purchased the Geco app and same story.

Below the last third of my log file from today. it was too large to post. At some point it says that connection failed but it's a big chunk of text.
I'm running a MacBook pro i5, 4gb ram.

and I'm in France, by the way.

Try logging out and logging back in to App Home to see if that resolves the issue for you

It looks like our servers were actually down for a little bit earlier. How recently did you try this? They should be up and running now so could you try logging out/in again one more time and try redownloading the apps to see if the issue persists?

Is it still possible to add apps to the home page? If so, how? I placed the apps in the airspace app folder but they are not showing up. I've also rebooted and restarted etc.

I don't believe you are able to do so since the App Store has been retired. Are you trying to add apps downloaded from teh Gallery to App Home?

Yes, to my knowledge, all the downloads from the Gallery are .zip files with a folder that has the app files and an executable. You can extract the folder to wherever you wish and either launch the .exe file directly or make a shortcut and launch through that.

Any apps downloaded through the Gallery do not require the use of App Home.
