My issue:
The leap controller is not being detected; the Resume Tracking button does not do anything.
Attempts to fix:
- Restarting computer
- Uninstalling Leap Motion services
- Plugging USB cord into any (and all) USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, didn't bother with the port on the HMD for obvious reasons
- Going into Services.msc, stopping the service
- Using an Administrator Command prompt to launch service
- Clicking "Resume Tracking" in the pop-up menu
Notable errors/information are seen in the screenshot shown below. If the image is of poor quality, the command prompt reads:
Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.14393]
(c) 2016 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
C:\WINDOWS\system32>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services\LeapSvc64.exe" --run

[Critical] Classic WebSocket server websocket error: Underlying Transport Error

Leap Motion Software version: 3.2.0+45899
On a side note, when I was trying to carefully peel off the adhesive sheet on the HMD mount, the peel-able paper tore a layer of foam *including the adhesive layer * off the back. If it's possible that a replacement mount could be arranged that would much appreciated
I hope I can get this resolved soon, I'm very eager to see what I can do with this (:
