Hi,
I am developing with Leap and Oculus in Unity on Windows 8. When I use the OVRPlayerController prefab in my scene to display the passthrough video from the Leap, it will often break and jump to a horizontally split screen which is frozen on the bottom and shows the video feed squashed into the top half. After a while, the video will reset to the correct view, but then often jumps back to split-screen again. The hand tracking appears to continue to work normally.
When I look at example projects which don't seem to have this problem, such as LeapIsolatedHands and OculusPassthrough, they seem to use a different setup than what I'm using, with different scripts within the camera rig. I have been basing my development on the files in the LeapMotionWidgets Unity project.
Are there multiple versions of the control scripts floating around out there? Which Unity examples contain the latest versions that I should be using?
My LeapOVRPlayerController has a child named OVRCameraRig which uses the script OVRManager. The OculusPassthrough project has a LeapPassthoughtOVRPlayerController with a child named OVRCameraController with OVRCameraController and OVRDevice scripts attached. Which is the more recent version?
Thanks,
Clay Budin
