I received my Leap Motion Controller this week. I downloaded the latest version of the LMC sdk - LeapDeveloperKit_2.0.2+16391_win. After I connect the controller to the computer, the device tracking doesn't work and I'm getting the following messages in the Software Log.
The controller is connected directly to the USB port of the computer.
This error doesn't show up with the earlier version of the software - Leap_Motion_Installer_release_public_win_x86_1.2.0+10947_ah1675. But even with that the device connectivity is an issue. When the tray icon, shows 'Green', i.e., connected, the diagnostic visualizer doesn't show the hand being tracked. When I reconnect the device, the tracking works for 2-4 seconds and freezes again.
My computer configuration is Windows 7 64 bit running with a Intel i7 4770K on a Asus Z87 deluxe motherboard with 32 GB RAM. I'm pretty sure my computer's hardware isn't the issue.
Please guide me whether this is a software/hardware bug or how can I resolve this issue. Thanks.
