Is there a support page documenting the effective (real world) bandwidth usage of the LMC for USB2 and USB3, respectively? In the modes of operation documented here:
https://support.leapmotion.com/entries/39433157-Modes-of-Operation
From the fps numbers listed on the page, it is not clear what the gating factor is - controller processing (Cypress etc.), USB bus (bandwidth, USB mode used), driver/OS, or the tracking stack. I am assuming the numbers and modes apply to the new skeletal tracking as well.
Put another way, could 2+ controllers co-exist on the same USB2 (or USB3) bus respectively even in high speed mode? Has anybody running e.g. a VM to get around the current SDK limitations observed further framerate reductions with two devices on the same hardware host?
Further, USB2 to USB3 sampling framerates do not appear to scale with theoretical (10x) or real-world (3.5x) speed-up. Is it correct to assume that the gating factor is in the controller itself, or in the choice of USB mode? Do you support isochronous?
