Is there any way to get at the raw sensor data from the Leap? I can understand not wanting to release driver code, but I am working on an application that needs high quality, high precision control over an extended period of time. The tracking system just doesn't provide that. (Even using a single finger, the leap drops frames / loses track often enough to ruin my intended application.) Exact position isn't as important, but consistency and reliability are. Similar to a theremin, although that DOES require precise control: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5qf9O6c20o .
So because I can't use the tracking system, I was hoping to process the raw signal myself. (Computer vision guy here.) For instance, threshold, segment, compute moments. I don't expect it would be complicated, but I don't know of a way to get at sensor data through the API.
Any helpful advice?
