I got a Leap Motion controller from a friend (I think he got it about a year ago, but hasn't had a chance to use it -- the model is LM-010), and trying to set it up on OS X.
I have it plugged it with a USB3 cable into a USB port (not hub) on a Macbook Pro (Core i7, late 2013). The software shows the following in the log:

At that point it's stuck, and nothing further happens. The device LED glows red. Trying to resume tracking doesn't do anything.
What should I try to do next?
