Hello!
First off, thanks for the latest VR focused updates, I wanted to use Leap Motion in VR from day 1 and thanks to the latest update we've decided to use Leap as primary input for an educational VR project I'm working on - primarily thanks to the price compared to other finger tracking solutions.
However the tracking isn't still quite reliable as we would like it to be, the hand keeps disappearing and tracking rotation of a fist is very unreliable.
I know it's in beta and it's going to be improved, however I was wondering if using a simple passive cloth glove with IR markings (like some black/white grid in IR) could help to significantly improve the accuracy.
Putting on a glove like that is only a minor inconvenience (especially if you spend a bit longer in a VR session) and in my opinion it would be well worth it if it significantly increased the accuracy - of course as optional add on.
What are you thoughts on this?
