Continuing the discussion from Android SDK Progress Update:
Hello,
I applied for the Android SDK Alpha and I have two questions:
1. How long will it take to get approved or refused?
2. Will I also get informed if I was refused?
My general suggestion regarding alpha invites:
Always write a timespan for your decision (around a week, 2-3 days, within hours, ...) it will make waiting a lot more comfortable because you have at least a hint if your just wasting your time or still waiting for a decision.
And my second suggestion:
Always inform people about any decision. It's just a bad habit nowadays to ignore people instead of a simple answer. If the decision is automatic, a refusal note could be automatic too. If its manual, a copy-paste mail is also worth the two extra seconds.
Sorry for the short rant, maybe you do it perfectly fine, but this "no answer (means no) policy" is a general issue which should be tackled
Best regards,
Faic
PS: Still waiting for the Alpha SDK which decides if I have to wear an additional Laptop (which I really would avoid if possible) for my AR-Research project.
